  Bonne nouvelle : la chanteuse et son amoureux Orlando Bloom sont les heureux parents d’une petite fille prénommée Daisy Dove. C’est l’heureuse maman qui en a fait l’annonce sur les réseaux sociaux en partageant une photo de la main de sa fillette. «Nous flottons avec amour et émerveillement devant la naissance de notre fille, née en bonne santé et en sécurité», ont-ils écrit. Il s’agit d’un premier enfant pour Katy Perry, mais d’un second pour l’acteur de Pirates of the Carribean qui a un fils de 9 ans, Flynn, né de son union avec Miranda Kerr.

Les deux stars ont du même souffle ouvert une page de dons, via l’UNICEF, invitant leurs abonnés à donner pour venir en aide aux nouvelles mamans et aux enfants dans le besoin. «Depuis la covid-19, beaucoup plus de vies de nouveau-nés sont en danger en raison d’un grand manque d'accès à l'eau, au savon, aux vaccins et aux médicaments qui préviennent les maladies», ont expliqué les nouveaux parents, ajoutant que le cadeau le précieux du monde était un enfant en bonne santé. 

L’annonce de la naissance de leur fille Daisy survient par ailleurs la veille de la sortie du nouvel album de Katy Perry, Smile, dont le premier single s’intitule justement... Daisies.
